The Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) scheme, managed by the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Government of India, is a comprehensive social security and health insurance scheme for workers. Who Needs ESIC Registration?

🔹 Mandatory for establishments employing 10 or more employees (in some states, 20 employees).

🔹 Employees earning up to ₹21,000/month (₹25,000 for persons with disabilities) must be covered.

    (Employees earning less than ₹176/day are exempt from payment of contribution, but employer’s share is still applicable)
