Documents Required for FSSAI Modification

  • Copy of existing FSSAI License/Registration Certificate

  • Identity & Address Proof of Proprietor/Partners/Directors

  • Updated proof of business premises (rent agreement, utility bill, etc.)

  • List of food products to be added/removed

  • Board Resolution (for companies)

  • Proof of modification (Name change certificate, Partnership Deed, MOA/AOA, etc.)

  • Food Safety Management System (FSMS) plan

  • Any other supporting documents based on type of modification

FSSAI Modification Process

  1. Login to FoSCoS Portal

    • Use the existing license number.

  2. Choose “Apply for Modification”

    • Select “Modification of License/Registration.”

  3. Submit Updated Details & Documents

    • Upload supporting documents as required.

  4. Inspection (if required)

    • FSSAI may conduct a site inspection for major modifications.

  5. Approval & Issue of Modified License

    • A revised license is issued with updated details.
